Snowdown is the town carnival, not a single concert. In 2026 it runs January 23 through February 1, with a different theme each year and a mix of downtown events that range from costume contests to something closer to a real race.
The night most people plan around is the Light Parade, Friday, January 30, at 6:00 p.m. on Main Avenue. A drone show follows around 6:45 p.m. The parade uses the historic core, so the sidewalks from the hotel block north are the place to stand.
