Edgemont Meadows

Edgemont Meadows is the newer section of Edgemont, northeast of town, on streets such as Silver Queen. It shares the Edgemont Ranch Metropolitan District with Edgemont Ranch and Edgemont Highlands.
District services
The district is a public agency. It provides the domestic water, the sanitary sewer, and the construction, maintenance, and snow removal for roads inside the district. It runs its own water plant and wastewater plant. The office is at 5972 County Road 234, Durango, CO 81301, phone 970-259-3102.
On a house, the owner maintains the water line from the meter to the building, and the district maintains the line from the meter back to the main. The owner maintains the sewer line from the house to the collector in the street. Driveways have to be gravel, concrete, or asphalt, with a culvert of at least 12 inches where the drive meets the road, so the driveway does not dump water onto the district road. Fire hydrants are not a construction water source.
