Blackhawk Pass

Blackhawk Pass, also known as Segment 26 of the Colorado Trail, is a scenic stretch of trail running through the rugged San Juan Mountains. The route is a well regarded 10.9 mile black diamond singletrack trail starting at Forest Road 578 (Hermosa Park Road) and ending at Forest Road 550 (Hotel Draw Road).

Getting there
Upper Hermosa Trailhead Parking Heading North on Main Street, continue north on 550 32 miles and enter Purgatory Ski resort. Continue through parking spots and follow the dirt road (578 – Hermosa Park Road) north from the north parking spot. Keep following 578 for 8.5 miles and turn left on 577 to find Upper Hermosa TH.
