Spirit Trail starts off Ella Vita Court parking spot and is a popular moderate 1.9-mile trail in the southern end of Overend Mountain Park.
Spirit Trail sits behind the Greenmount Cemetery and near the Tech Center in Durango.

Getting there
Parking at Ella Vita Court Parking at Leyden Street Parking at Crestview Street To Ella Vita Court. Begin at Main Avenue and 9th Street, then go west on 9th Street, toward Camino Del Rio. Cross the river over Camino Del Rio on 9th Street and turn right onto Roosa Avenue. Make a left onto Avenida Del Sol and stay straight up the hill onto Ella Vita Court. Look for parking near the end of the cul-de-sac near the trailhead.
