Spur Line Trails

Two beginner loops and a small pump track on the northeast side of Three Springs, off Wilson Gulch Road. Built for first rides, and fine for a walk.

The Spur Line is the easy dirt on the northeast edge of Three Springs. Switcher starts at the parking lot with a small pump track, then a loop. Rail Spike is the longer beginner loop beside it. Durango Trails has talked about a northern trail that would tie this into Cowboy, Sidewinder, and Horse Gulch. The map shows the two loops.

The trails sit on private property that is open range. Stay on the marked routes. The neighborhood is still being built, so watch for construction traffic.

Getting there

From Main Avenue and 9th Street, go west on 9th to Camino del Rio and turn left. Take Highway 160 east and turn left at the light onto Three Springs Boulevard, toward Mercy. At the first roundabout, keep right onto Wilson Gulch Drive. At the next roundabout, keep right onto the gravel road and follow the signs about a third of a mile. Parking is on the right.
